PATAGONIA IV. CHILE, CONCLUSIONS

DSC00644

Puerto Natales
Lots of stray dogs everywhere. These so primitive animals went crazy behind a female predisposed to procreate.

We are in Argentina! At this point, and before continuing with the story, I will make a small, personal stock of what has caught my attention in my brief stint in CHILE.
- It is a country of very European culture and customs; In this sense, and being who speak Spanish, you almost forget you're away from home. It is therefore a little surprising from the point of view of the traveler, nothing to do with representing an Egypt visit, Cambodia and Panama to name another country. To my taste when traveling, this takes away attractive.
– It's the most economically developed country in South America. However the tail would Europeans.
- Their prices are, except for some things like transportation and food, similar to that of Spain. The problem is that what you get for those prices is unfortunate. If you charge 2 euros for a coke , at least Ponmela in a glass with ice and lemon, and no more bottle. If we cobras 36 euros by the campsite, unless you have some comfort beyond filthy restrooms. And just as you want…
– As for the speech is, perhaps, the more difficult to understand Spanish. They speak very fast and merge or “eat” letters. Besides many different words, as “pololear” (“novietear”), “taxi” (to party), “cachai” (understand), “fome” (boring), “Brígido” (nice)…

And ubiquitous idioms as:
When shooting. (immediately)
Sipo. ( if, or if it)
Yapo ( already, or and then)
Nopo (not, or as)
The things I liked in Chile are these:
First, the stunning scenery, mountains, fjords, channels, glaciers… Nature is overflowing.

Also important; it is very easy to do that you offer maids sex. The fact that in Chile there is little natural milk powder but if, joined as I said, talk too fast and pooling points allows the following situation (not to brag but it has happened several times):
You go to the waitress and ask a latte. It is.
She will tell:
LECHEUNPOLVO ???
And you will say:
AS VALE!, or MAYBE LATER, THANKS!
And seriously, best of all, some great people that we have found. Jose, Patricia, Teresa, Jacqueline…
Teresa found her boy thanks to Couchsurfng.

Ay, Jacqueline! …if you had wished I would have “Dejao”
At this time, and since Argentina, I come to spin on where to continue the adventure. From mid February reworks Isabelle, and before the two go to Uruguay, place to which I have no interest in visiting. Therefore, and though later I meet Alejandro again at some location TBD; in a few days I undertake solo adventure.
A French friend Isabelle told us that it is possible to navigate the Amazon regular boats from Peru to the Atlantic, across all of Brazil.
Another possibility is to return to Colombia, funny country and were lovely people where as a year ago. And the third possibility is I wont go the heart of South America; Bolivia and Paraguay.
I get very bad news from Valencia. Just three months after © s to quit my job diamarmotero, my tenants leave the floor. This is a blow to my budget. A kick in the bathroom ± ador, we. So I will have to lower the furrow © currency with which I am watering Sudama © rica…
