Me encanta Laos, un pais que da buen rollito.
La gente es mas relajada, sera por el opio que producen?
Me parecen mas pacificos, mas respetuosos con el visitante…
Laos como pais es un invento. Era una parte de Siam, junto a Tailandia y Camboya, thru late nineteenth, when European countries were colonizing the whole pie. Then French pressure to Siam was very strong and only giving part of its territory got the other hand remained unsettled.
The party remained free, One of the few who escaped being colonized, happened to be Thailand. And the rest of the French divided into two management areas which they called Cambodia and Laos.
The scenery is incredible, figures karst mountains and jungle and rice paddies impossible for all sites. Leopards are still, snakes and wild elephants among others.

And it is here the wildlife is size XXL, immense grasshopper, crickets 500 decibels, ½ kilo cockroaches and mosquitoes that defy the law of gravity. And rivers where you can swim forever, in fact every river I see I get into the, clothes and all. Total then dried, who cares? you wonder !
It is a nominally communist country, which means it is a dictatorship in practice, but with a capitalist economic system. In any case one of the poorest in the world where there is no hunger. A country where people ultimately seems happy
