PATAGONIA II. CRUISE LOW COST AND SURVIVAL ON MOUNT.

DSC00585
I still have two stories that have nothing to do with each other. The first of pleasure, good life and enjoy. Four days sailing south, through channels and fjords, between islands and glaciers.
The second story, contra, talks “sufrires” and “padeceres”; tensile, discomfort and hunger almost. Five days of survival through the natural park of Torres del Paine.
If the first story won a couple of kilos, I would say that along with another couple we lost in the second
HOLIDAY AT SEA. CRUISE TO PUERTO NATALES.

With the company Navimag, and for four days, we dropped from Puerto Montt to Puerto Natales, almost at the southern-. For a price of 320 euros to change, in Our “Love boat” had particularly full board self, some activities such as film screenings and even some animations and holidays, bingo game type.
As to passage, were a motley mix but with some preponderance of globetrotting backpackers. life on the boat passed very nice, no more concern than entertained until we “cast” to eat again.
We slept in bunk beds in hallways detached and having a locked cabinet each. It was the cheapest ticket, but nothing worth spending more money, drawing the curtain as only you had almost as intimate as in a cabin. Or so I thought my fellow…
Ultimately, could say it's a cruise “low cost”, something like a cross between cruise pullmantur and shelter the Camino de Santiago.

The main attraction of the trip were the breathtaking scenery. The route we almost always went through channels and fjords. Each time the setting was more Antarctic, and we could see penguins and sea lions.
On the other hand has a certain fascination, at least for me, the feeling of being more and more south than it ever had been. The night sky, different from the northern hemisphere, reminded us every night with different constellations. There was the famous “Southern Cross” and “the centaur”.

The Cape Horn is, perhaps, the most feared seaway in the world for its strong winds and tides. They say that Magellan had much “jam” to move to the first, and that he lost 2 their 5 boats in the attempt. Early 17 ships that tried only 8 they got.
For that reason the place place names make you believe that you are actually looking Map of MORDOR: Land of Fire, Last Hope, Puerto Hunger, Desolation Island..
Perhaps the name of some sailor PATAGONIA him out because of what would happen here, FUCKING AGONY.
Times have changed, Now we can navigate it without risk our lives. And the landscapes, feel as you approach the end of the world, are increasingly impressive…
